Service Description

Starting on Sunday April 30th, this 6-week, Free course will run weekly. Book online now to secure your spot! What better way to get yourself moving than with these fantastic Nordic Walking Classes. Hike through the glorious Queen Elizabeth Country Park, breathe in the fresh air and let nature work it's magic on your wellbeing. Scientifically proven to engage higher levels of muscle activation than ordinary walking; Nordic walking is known to promote weight loss, tone the body, improve bone and joint strength, increase cardiovascular and respiratory functioning and enhance circulation. Not to mention the added benefits of spending time in nature such as reductions in stress, anxiety and improved cognitive functioning. Guided by our highly qualified instructor Carl, in the first two sessions you will be shown the proper technique to receive maximum physical benefits whilst navigating the terrain. Then in the remaining four you will be trying out your newly developed skills in a series of beautiful group walks around the national park. Sessions are completely FREE.
